VTC NewsVTC News29/11/2024

World oil prices

At 6:00 a.m. on November 29, Brent crude oil price increased 34 cents, equivalent to 0.5%, to 73.17 USD/barrel. WTI crude oil price increased 16 cents, equivalent to 0.2%, to 68.88 USD/barrel.

Oil prices rose again today after Israel and the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah accused each other of violating their ceasefire and as Israeli tanks fired on southern Lebanon.

OPEC+ also postponed a meeting that could have extended the production cuts by a few days. Analysts said it was unlikely OPEC+ would announce a production increase at the next meeting.

OPEC+ supplies half the world's oil but has maintained production cuts to support prices. They hope to gradually reduce those cuts, but weak global demand has forced them to delay the start of a gradual increase in output.

Slowing fuel demand in top oil consumers China and the United States has continued to weigh on oil prices this year.

Limiting oil price gains was a report from the US Energy Information Administration showing US gasoline inventories rose by 3.3 million barrels, contrary to analysts' expectations of a slight decline ahead of holiday travel .

Domestic gasoline prices

In the operating period on November 28, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 497 VND/liter, not higher than 19,840 VND/liter. RON95 gasoline increased by 329 VND/liter, not higher than 20,857 VND/liter.

In this management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continues not to set aside or use the petroleum price stabilization fund for any products.
