Disbursement of the Project "Breeding White Horses" in Quang Trung Commune

BAC NINH - On October 21, the Bac Ninh Provincial Farmers Support Fund disbursed capital for the project "Breeding White Horses for Reproduction" in Quang Trung Commune. This is a new breeding model that aims to effectively exploit the advantages of land, labor and diversify agricultural products, contributing to shifting the local production structure towards high-value goods.

The project is headed by Ms. Hoang Thi Dung, Chairwoman of the Quang Trung Commune Farmers' Association, and is directed, managed and implemented by the Provincial Farmers' Support Fund according to a group model of 5 households.

The Provincial Farmers Support Fund signed a loan disbursement agreement for households participating in the "Breeding White Horses" Project.

The project implementation period is 36 months (2025 - 2028), with a total investment of 1,555 billion VND. Of which, the Provincial Farmers Support Fund has disbursed a loan of 520 million VND for a term of 36 months, with a preferential fee of 0.6%/month (equivalent to 7.2%/year), significantly reducing the initial financial burden for farming households; the households' own counterpart capital is 1,035 billion VND. The project's goal is not only to increase revenue and profit for participating households, but also to create jobs, increase income, sustainably reduce poverty and strengthen the local Farmers' Association.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, representative of one of the five households participating in the project, said: "We are very happy to have access to this preferential capital source. Raising white horses is a new direction, we have been trained in techniques and believe that the model will bring a stable long-term income for the family."

The implementation of the project “Breeding White Horses for Reproduction” represents a new and creative direction in local agricultural development. With the timely support of the Provincial Farmers Support Fund and the consensus of households, the project promises to become a model that can be replicated, creating sustainable livelihoods for farmer members in the province.
