June 11, 1948, President Ho Chi Minh issued the “Call for Patriotic Emulation”, which became an important milestone for the patriotic emulation movement of the entire nation. Since then, in the resistance war to defend the Fatherland or in building and constructing the country, each historical period has had vibrant emulation movements in all fields. In the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Committee, the Government and all classes of people of Nghe An have been striving to compete to be worthy of the heroic Soviet revolutionary tradition.

In recent times, patriotic emulation movements have made important contributions to the successful implementation of the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels, promoting the socio -economic development of the province.

At the Exchange Program, Ms. Sam Thi Bich and Mr. Ho Xuan Vinh shared their stories of starting a business.

President Ho Chi Minh once emphasized: “Every good person, every good deed is a beautiful flower; our whole nation is a beautiful flower forest”. In today's exchange, the delegates took turns meeting and listening to the sharing of typical faces representing 166 delegates attending this Patriotic Emulation Congress. Although in different fields, each person has the desire to contribute, bringing good values to life with love, responsibility, intelligence, and their own labor, and those values have spread strongly in the community. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An awarded the title of National Emulation Fighter to individuals.

Summing up the period 2021-2025, Nghe An province has 79 collectives with outstanding achievements receiving the Government's emulation flag; 16 individuals achieving the title of national emulation fighter; 48 collectives and 227 individuals achieving Labor Medals of all ranks; 03 individuals receiving the Bravery Medal; 02 collectives recognized with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces; 01 collective and 01 individual achieving the title of Hero of Labor in the renovation period.

The achievements of collectives and individuals have demonstrated the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and the cause of national construction and defense.

At the Exchange Program, the Organizing Committee awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to 10 collectives with outstanding achievements, leading the patriotic emulation movement of Nghe An province in 2024 ; awarded the title of National Emulation Fighter to 07 individuals with outstanding achievements, typical in the patriotic emulation movement, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland .

10 collectives were awarded the Emulation Flag by the Government, including:

2. Department of Finance;

3. Provincial Inspectorate;

4. Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions;

5. Provincial Veterans Association;

6. Nghe An General Friendship Hospital;

7. Cua Dong General Hospital;

8. Hoa Thuong Limited Liability Company;

9. Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation;

10. Van Minh Limited Liability Company.

07 individuals were awarded the title of National Emulation Fighter, including:

1. Mr. Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

2. Mr. Phan Thanh Doai - former Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.

3. Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Deputy Director of Department of Education and Training.

4. Mr. Vi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs.

5. Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh - Chairman of Tuong Duong District People's Committee (now Secretary of Trung Loc Commune Party Committee).

6. Mr. Tran Xuan Cuong - Director of Phu Mat National Park, Nghe An province (now Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

7. Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of Department of Industry and Trade.
