In celebration of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, the political and artistic program "Hanoi Belief" organized by Hanoi Radio at Hanoi Flag Tower on the evening of October 8 revived the glorious and proud historical journey of the Capital and the whole country, starting from the historic August Revolution, opening the era of independence and freedom to the era of national development today.
The special highlight of the program is that for the first time in 65 years, the most massive choral suite in the history of Vietnamese music - "Our Fatherland" (including 3 movements by musicians Ho Bac, Hoang Van, Pham Tuyen) - was performed fully and completely on stage, right at the foot of Hanoi Flag Tower, the sacred symbol of the country.
“The National Epic” – a new melody of national pride – first resounded on a music stage with an impressive performance by Dao To Loan. “The National Epic” by musician Ho Trong Tuan not only recreates the spirit of the nation that has written glorious pages of history but also affirms the aspiration to build a new era of peace , happiness and development in the present period.
Singer Dao To Loan shared: "When singing, I put myself in the flow of national emotions - pride in independence, faith in the future and gratitude to previous generations to express a strong, bright spirit - just like the spirit of the National Heroic Song, an epic of today's era."
In addition, Dao To Loan also returned to the stage in a red ao dai when singing a duet of the song "Each step makes me love my country more" by musician Tan Huyen with Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung and the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra.
On the stage of the program, there was also another "very Hanoi" performance by People's Artist Mai Hoa with "Blue Hanoi Sky" by musician Van Ky with the nostalgic image of Long Bien Bridge.
People's Artist Mai Hoa also conquered the audience with the song "Autumn Hanoi" by musician Vu Thanh.
Singers Pham Tuan and Dang Ngoc Anh brought to the music night a very compatible performance "Love of the Sea".
Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi brings to the program the performance "Reminiscence". This is not just a song but a picture telling a historical story through music.
