Tung Duong released a song and performed with 80 artists at A80

In the art performance "Vietnamese Spirit" at Ba Dinh Square, the song "Vietnam, let's step towards glory" resounded proudly, becoming one of the important highlights of the 80th National Day celebration on September 2.

The work was performed by singer Tung Duong with 80 artists and about 2,000 extras, and is part of a medley including Bright Prosperity of Vietnam and Oh Vietnam, Let's Step to Glory.

The performance was elaborately staged, blending traditional culture and contemporary music , bringing together typical artists from the North and South such as: Tung Duong, Dao To Loan, People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga, My Tam, Phuong My Chi, Hoa Minzy...

Right on the occasion of the grand ceremony, the special version of the MV "Vietnam, let's step to glory" by Tung Duong in collaboration with Dao To Loan - Vietnam's leading soprano - was also released.

Sharing about the project, Tung Duong emotionally expressed: “I am extremely proud to be able to sing loudly on the historic day of September 2. In particular, being able to sing the song Vietnam, let's step to the future at the A80 Parade is a great honor in my singing career. This is not only a musical work, but also a belief and aspiration sent to my beloved Fatherland”.

Talking about the patriotism of the young generation and the meaning of music in peacetime, Tung Duong added: “The patriotism of young people is very passionate and enthusiastic. They know how to value peace and participate in many national activities, from parades to concerts, demonstrating the ideal of practical dedication to building the country.”

Featuring in the iconic song on the occasion of National Day, Dao To Loan expressed her pride and emotion when classical music was harmoniously combined with popular music.

“As an opera and classical chamber artist, I have always wanted to bring classical music closer to the public. When I was able to join Tung Duong in this iconic song, right on the occasion of the sacred National Day, I was truly proud and moved. This is a special mark, a beautiful and meaningful memory in my artistic journey,” said Dao To Loan.

Director Nguyen Anh Dung, who directed the MV, said: “I am very proud to have the opportunity to make the MV for this meaningful song. The crew has made efforts to bring the most beautiful images of the country, from nature to people and the festival, to inspire and arouse patriotism in everyone.”

Previously, the song "Vietnam, let's step to glory " was also performed emotionally by Dong Hung, artists Dao To Loan and Thu Thuy in the MV of the same name.

The song, composed by musician Le Tu Minh, has a heroic tone, reflecting the aspiration to build a strong Vietnam in the new era.

The lyrics depict the indomitable will, honor the achievements of our ancestors, and at the same time convey the belief and responsibility to continue the footsteps of today's young generation. According to author Le Tu Minh, the consistent message is condensed into 4 core values: Pride - Solidarity - Rising up - For the Fatherland.
