Comments on the art program "Great poet Nguyen Du, fragrant manuscripts to flip through..."

On the afternoon of August 29, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh - the standing agency of the Provincial Arts Council - held a meeting to listen to a report on the script of the art program to celebrate the 260th anniversary of the birth and 205th anniversary of the death of the great poet Nguyen Du.

The art program titled: "Great poet Nguyen Du, reading fragrant manuscripts...", vividly depicts the life, career and contributions of Nguyen Du to national and human culture.

The script consists of 3 chapters. Chapter 1: The first years of life - recreates Nguyen Du's childhood and adulthood in the context of history, family and homeland.

Chapter 2: Ten years of wandering - reflects the journey of exile, going through many events, wandering and pain of the times, from which the depth of the poet's thoughts and personality is formed.

Chapter 3: Nguyen Du writes Kieu, the country turns into literature - depicts the process of creating the masterpiece Tale of Kieu, affirming the innate talent and world cultural stature of the Great Poet.

Delegates give comments on the art program

At the meeting, the delegates basically agreed with the art program script and said that the way of expression, through the smooth combination of dance scenes, stage scenes with dialogue and continuous chaining, interweaving the past and present, was both artistic and educational , creating emotional depth and strong influence.

Delegates gave some comments on the historical context, emphasizing the humanistic values in the Tale of Kieu, while focusing on choosing suitable actors, props, music and lighting to honor the stature of the Great Poet Nguyen Du - a world cultural celebrity.
