Specifically, as of the afternoon of October 9, there were no incidents of trees falling onto the streets in the city, and a total of 22 flooded locations, of which 13 were still accessible and 9 were deeply flooded and impassable. These were concentrated in the suburban areas, including: Road 423, Trung Vo Bridge (Km3+164) was flooded about 40cm deep. Road 421B, Dong Yen Bridge (Km11+300) was flooded 30cm deep. Thang Long Avenue (Km8+200, right access road) was flooded about 60cm deep.

Road 423, Bridge 72 II (Km8+400) is flooded 50cm deep. Mieu Nha Street (both sides of Nga Bridge) is flooded about 60cm deep. Road 35 (Km0+350) is flooded about 80cm deep. Road 16 (Km2) is flooded 50cm deep. The underpass on the left bank of Nhue River (Km4+944, Thang Long Avenue) is flooded about 1m deep. Hong Ky - Bac Son Street (Chien Bridge section) is flooded about 1m deep.

Regarding flooding incidents, the Maintenance Board has directed road management contractors to properly implement the plans issued by the Department of Construction. The Maintenance Board has also directed road management contractors to continuously monitor, assign people to be on duty to guide traffic flow and install warning signs at flooded locations. At the same time, information is announced to the mass media and VOV traffic channel to guide drivers to move smoothly and ensure traffic safety.

In addition, water levels on four inland waterways are also regularly monitored and updated to promptly handle emergency situations.
