Vice Chairman of Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee Bui The Cuong said that Mid-Autumn Festival is a beautiful traditional culture, a children's festival, a day of reunion and gathering for every Vietnamese family. On this occasion, children can carry star lanterns, dance with lions, enjoy moon-watching, listen to fairy tales; live in an innocent, pure and happy atmosphere with grandparents, parents, teachers and friends. This is also an opportunity for the whole society to show its care and concern for the young generation - the future owners of the country.

The program attracted the participation of a large number of people, especially teenagers and children in the area.

The ward leader said that the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations of Phu Thuong ward always pay special attention to the work of caring for, educating and protecting children.

Specifically, the ward has implemented many practical activities: Organizing emulation movements for learning, sports and art competitions, healthy children's competitions, traffic safety; paying attention to building a healthy and friendly learning environment; investing in upgrading school facilities; at the same time focusing on protecting and caring for children in special circumstances, disadvantaged children, and children with disabilities. Neighborhood groups, mass organizations, and schools all organize "Full Moon Festival Night" for children in many rich, diverse, and practical forms. Giving thousands of gifts to children, especially those in difficult circumstances, so that they can all have a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival.
