Commander of Military Region 1 inspects and directs overcoming the consequences of floods caused by storm No. 11

On the afternoon of October 7, a working delegation from Military Region 1 led by Major General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of Military Region 1, directly inspected and directed the response and recovery work for flood consequences in Thai Nguyen province.

Due to the influence of storm No. 11, from the night of October 6 to the morning of October 7, in Thai Nguyen province, there continued to be moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain, causing the water level of Cau River to rise rapidly, exceeding the alarm level in many locations.

Officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 1 reinforce the Cau River dike.

Major General Truong Manh Dung, Commander of Military Region 1, directed the work of reinforcing the Cau River dike.

Faced with the complicated situation of heavy rain, Military Region 1 mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers to coordinate with forces and functional units to transport materials to reinforce the Cau River dike; deploy response plans, support and help people move people and property to safe areas.
