Many fishermen in Ky Phu commune (Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province) went out to sea to fish near the shore during the day and caught a large quantity of bream (also known as needlefish) and sea croaker. After bringing them to shore, traders and people came to buy them quickly.

On the afternoon of November 12, Mr. Nguyen Kien Quyet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Phu commune (Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province) said that during the day, many fishermen in the area went out to sea about 1 nautical mile from shore and caught a large number of small hairtail fish and sea croaker.

Currently, in the whole Ky Phu commune, there are a total of about 200 fishing boats with a capacity of 16CV or more, of which more than 100 boats catch needlefish and sea croaker, with an estimated average output of about 1.5 to 3 quintals/boat.

Immediately after the ship reached shore, the fish were quickly purchased by traders and people.

The selling price of needlefish right on the coast of Ky Phu commune fluctuates from 7,000 - 10,000 VND/kg and croaker is around 15,000 VND/kg.

Since the beginning of 2023, this is the time fishermen in Ky Phu commune have caught the largest quantity of needlefish and sea croaker.
