Two tourists lost their way and got stuck on Fairy Mountain.

(Dan Tri) - Two male tourists climbed Co Tien Mountain (Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province) for an experience and got lost and had to ask for help from the authorities.


On March 15, information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that they had successfully rescued two tourists who got lost and stuck on Co Tien Mountain.

Previously, on the afternoon of March 14, Mr. T. (30 years old) and Mr. H. (19 years old, both living in Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa) invited each other to climb Co Tien mountain for tourism , experience and exploration. It was almost dark, both of them went down the mountain, but because they were not familiar with the road, they got lost, got stuck, and had to call for help.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, mobilized officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to the scene.

Due to the darkness and difficult terrain, rescue work encountered many difficulties. At 8:30 p.m. the same day, the authorities reached the two tourists and brought them down the mountain. After examination, the health of these two people was stable.

Fairy Mountain is located in the north of Nha Trang city, about 400m high. From the top, visitors can see the whole view of the coastal city of Nha Trang.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department recommends that to ensure safety when exploring Co Tien Mountain, visitors need to ensure good health, understand the terrain and limit climbing at night.
