Hai Duong supports land lease for 39 large commodity production entities

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hai Duong has just supported land rental costs for 39 entities in 7 districts, cities and towns to develop large-scale commodity production in 2025.

Accordingly, 39 entities in the districts of Cam Giang, Kim Thanh, Thanh Mien, Tu Ky, Ninh Giang, Gia Loc and Chi Linh City were supported with over 1.8 billion VND for over 360.5 hectares of land. Of which, 23 entities leased land for the first year, with an area of ​​nearly 201.1 hectares, the rest leased land for the second year.

Kim Thanh district has the most supported subjects with 16 subjects.

Land rental funding support aims to promote large-scale production of goods, creating conditions to reduce costs and labor, and increase economic efficiency.

Implementing the Project "Developing concentrated agricultural production applying high technology and organic agriculture in the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030", in the period of 2021 - 2025, Hai Duong has deployed support for land leasers to produce goods with a scale of 5 hectares or more, with a support level of 5 million VND/ha/year for the first 2 years from the date of land lease. The land lease term is guaranteed for a minimum of 5 consecutive years.

Up to now, 78 entities in 9 districts and cities: Nam Sach, Chi Linh, Kim Thanh, Cam Giang, Binh Giang, Thanh Mien, Gia Loc, Ninh Giang and Tu Ky have been supported with over 6 billion VND for nearly 711 hectares.
