Trinh Thu Vinh deserves to be in the top 1 outstanding athlete

This morning (February 12), two excellent Vietnamese shooters, Trinh Thu Vinh and Pham Quang Huy, competed in the final round of the 10m mixed team pistol event at the 2025 Asian Shooting Cup held in Thailand. Thu Vinh and Quang Huy's opponents in the final round were a pair of athletes from Indonesia.

The Vietnamese shooting duo were at a disadvantage in the first period. However, Trinh Thu Vinh and Pham Quang Huy continued to shoot better and better, while their opponents could not maintain their high performance. In the end, Thu Vinh and Quang Huy won the Asian gold medal, defeating the Indonesian pair 17-13.

This is the second time Trinh Thu Vinh and Pham Quang Huy have won the continental championship. Previously, at the 2024 Asian Shooting Championship, these two excellent shooters were also crowned.

Another important event that Trinh Thu Vinh and Pham Quang Huy will compete in at the 2025 Asian Shooting Cup is the individual 10m air pistol (men's and women's). The 10m air pistol qualifying round will take place on the afternoon of February 12, while the medal round will be held on February 13.

At the 2025 Asian Shooting Cup, 18 athletes competed: Trinh Thu Vinh, Pham Quang Huy, Ha Minh Thanh, Phan Cong Minh, Lai Cong Minh, Le Thi Mong Tuyen, Nguyen Dinh Thanh, Nguyen Thanh Nam, Nguyen Thi Thao, Nguyen Thuy Trang, Nguyen Phan Hien Khanh, Nguyen Tam Quang, Nguyen Thuy Dung, Phi Thanh Thao, Tran An Tin, Tran Cong Hieu, Trieu Thi Hoa Hong and Vu Tien Nam.
