Hundreds of coast guard officers sacrificed themselves with people to respond to storm No. 10

In order to minimize the damage caused by storm No. 10, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 1 Command have urgently taken measures to prevent the storm. The image of officers and soldiers of Squadron 102, Coast Guard Region 1 Command, working together with the people on every dike, roof, alley, etc. has become a vivid symbol of the spirit of dedication, responsibility and noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Coast Guard soldiers".

At sea, in the face of the complex developments of the storm, the ships of Squadron 102 have urgently maneuvered in key areas to persistently propagate, guide, and call on thousands of fishing vessels to escape the danger zone and quickly find safe shelter. Each radio signal, each reminder is not only a military order, but also a message of humanity and noble responsibility: Serving the people, acting for the peace of the sea.

On land, Squadron 102 mobilized more than 100 officers and soldiers to coordinate with the people and local armed forces to closely follow the key dike points. In Dan Hai commune ( Ha Tinh province), where the Hoi Thong dike is located, one of the four points at risk of suffering the most severe damage if the storm makes landfall, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard did not mind the wind or rain, shoulder to shoulder with the people to transport each sandbag, erect each wooden stake, reinforce the embankment, brace houses, trim trees, and move fishing gear to a safe place. The order comes from the heart, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

During the tense days of responding to storm No. 10, the dedication, responsibility and willingness to sacrifice for the people of the officers and soldiers of Squadron 102 have highlighted the qualities: Loyalty, devotion, and "Forgetting oneself for the people". The relationship between the army and the people has become stronger, and the people's trust in the Coast Guard force has been increasingly consolidated.

The image of Coast Guard officers and soldiers braving the rain and wind, diligently performing each task has given strength and confidence to the people in coastal areas to stand firm against the storm.
