According to a VNA correspondent in Germany, with the theme “Innovate Manufacturing”, EMO Hannover 2025 attracted 80,000 trade visitors from all over the world . The main focus of the fair was on the topics of automation; digitalization; sustainability; development of new technology machinery and smart manufacturing, which have once again become the driving force for production efficiency in industrial processes.

“There are many smart and impressive technical solutions, and EMO Hannover 2025 has demonstrated them convincingly,” said Carl Martin Welcker, Senior Commissioner for EMO Hannover 2025. “For these solutions to be effective, the investment momentum really needs to be activated.” According to Mr. Velcker, confidence is gradually improving abroad, especially outside Europe. Specifically, in the visitor survey, two-thirds of visitors from Europe said they intend to invest. In Germany alone, this figure is almost half. This is reflected in the current trend in foreign orders for the German machine tool industry, which increased by 6% in the first seven months of 2025 compared to the same period last year.
