According to the quick statistics of the People's Committee of Ha Trung commune on August 27, the whole commune recorded 158 houses flooded under 1 meter with 472 people having to evacuate on the spot. More seriously, up to 687 houses were flooded from 1 to 3 meters deep, forcing 1,547 people to evacuate, mainly in Binh Lam, Chue Cau, and Tuong Lac villages. People were evacuated to high-rise buildings and places designated and arranged by local authorities.
