Ho Chi Minh City People's Council convenes a thematic session to consider many social policies

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council has just summoned People's Council delegates to attend the 3rd session of the 10th Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term 2021-2026 (special session). The session is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of August 28.

It is expected that at the meeting, the HCMC People's Council will focus on reviewing and giving opinions on the proposal on the Regulations on a number of regimes and expenditure levels for the activities of the People's Councils at all levels in HCMC; the proposal to promulgate the Regulations on protecting state secrets of the HCMC People's Council after the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units (HCMC, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, and Binh Duong province before).

The People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City also considered and commented on the report of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City submitted to the meeting on the following contents: Regulations on the policy of supporting loans to create jobs for cadres, civil servants, public employees, non-professional workers, and workers who quit their jobs after the reorganization of the political system; Regulations on spending additional income according to Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City (replacing Resolution No. 08/2023/NQ-HDND).

Along with that is the content on: Regulations on vocational training support regime for cadres, civil servants, and non-professional workers who quit their jobs after the reorganization of the political system; Regulations on policies for developing preschool education in areas with industrial parks and places with many workers in Ho Chi Minh City.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also submitted a report on the following contents: Solving public housing and issuing policies to support housing rental for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers; Regulations on education support policies for preschool children, pupils, students, graduate students, and researchers of ethnic minorities in Ho Chi Minh City.
