The communication system was guaranteed to be smooth, the system of dikes, irrigation works, traffic, public works, headquarters, and schools in 114 communes, wards, and special zones in the city were safe. 43 dike routes in the city with a total length of 790.1km (58.2km of sea dikes, 127.9km of river mouth dikes, 604km of river dikes) and 75 key locations of dikes were safe, with no incidents.

96,120 hectares of crops (80,760 hectares of summer-autumn rice, 15,860 hectares of vegetables); 3,890 livestock farms (1,012 pig farms, 2,878 poultry farms), 63,074 household-scale livestock farms; 728 livestock farms in areas outside the dike; 23,900 hectares of aquaculture area (4,500 hectares of saltwater, 19,400 hectares of freshwater) are all safe.
The work of lowering the buffer water level on the canal system is proactively carried out early and from a distance by the Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Companies in the city, ensuring flood prevention work.
In the coming days, localities and units will continue to do a good job of preventing flooding due to the impact of rain circulation after storm No. 9 and proactively deploy tasks to prevent storm No. 10. Irrigation construction companies and relevant localities and units will continue to carry out buffer drainage to prevent flooding. Localities will urgently harvest areas of vegetables, ripe rice, and aquatic products that are ready for harvest.
