On the evening of July 3, after broadcasting a program 100% featuring singer Hong Phuong and her husband, Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) received one-star ratings from a series of viewers on Facebook and Google.
On HTV's fanpage, many viewers left negative comments about Hong Phuong's appearance.

Immediately after that, HTV issued an official response on its fanpage. In the document, the station did not specifically state or directly mention any incident or artist, but emphasized:
"HTV supports a lifestyle of morality and humanity and always tries to create programs and content that are consistent with cultural and humanistic values, meeting the needs of the audience in a safe and positive manner.
At the same time, HTV always respects and complies with all legal regulations related to its operations, including protecting the legitimate rights of individuals and organizations.
HTV hopes to receive the companionship and support of the audience to develop together, bringing good values to the community."
In the latest developments, the latest broadcasts of the program 100% and images related to Hong Phuong have also been removed from HTV Television's platforms.
As for Hong Phuong, the female singer said that since the scandal related to the lawsuit with Hong Loan (daughter of artist Vu Linh) happened, her work and spirit have been affected. She herself fell into crisis because of attacks from many sides.
Many partners also canceled their cooperation, seriously affecting her income. "I hope to return to the arts with the name Hong Phuong, niece of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh. It is a pride that he was still alive until now he passed away," the female singer confided.
Overview of the lawsuit:
On June 7, the People's Court of Phu Nhuan District (HCMC) accepted the inheritance dispute case of Mr. Vo Van Ngoan (Meritorious Artist Vu Linh).
The plaintiff is Ms. Vo Thi Hong Nhung (60 years old, Vu Linh's younger sister), the defendant is Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan (37 years old, Vu Linh's daughter). Other interested parties include Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong (Vu Linh's niece), Mr. Vo Thanh Nhieu (Vu Linh's younger brother).
According to the petition, the plaintiff requests the court to cancel the inheritance declaration document made by the defendant on April 7, 2023 at Huynh Thi Ngoc Yen Notary Office regarding the estate of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh (currently transferred to Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan).
The assets include a house and land use rights at 5 Doan Thi Diem, Ward 1, Phu Nhuan District; land use rights for plots 87 and 88, along with map sheet 8 in Linh Dong Ward, Thu Duc City, and a car.
At the same time, cancel the update of changes on the certificate of land use rights and assets attached to land at No. 5 Doan Thi Diem and the right to use land plots No. 87, 88 and map sheet No. 8 in Linh Dong ward regarding the content transferred to Ms. Vo Thi Hong Loan.
The plaintiff also requested the court to divide the inheritance of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh regarding the right to use land plots No. 87, 88 and map No. 8 in Linh Dong ward between himself and Mr. Vo Thanh Nhieu (younger brother of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh).
Ms. Nhung requested to receive half of the value after deducting the value that the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh orally left to Ms. Le Thi Hong Phuong (niece of the late Meritorious Artist Vu Linh). The estimated value that Ms. Nhung requested to receive was 1.5 billion VND.
