Hanoi Police coach determined to win 3 points at home in "Southeast Asia Cup C1"

VHO - Speaking at the press conference before the match between Hanoi Police - Dynamic Herb Cebu (Philippines) at the Southeast Asian Club Championship - Shopee Cup 2025/26 (Southeast Asian Cup C1), coach Mano Polking was determined to win his players' first victory.

At the Shopee Cup 2025/26, Hanoi Police Club is in Group A with Buriram United, BG Pathum United (both from Thailand), Selangor FC (Malaysia), Tampines Rovers (Singapore) and Dynamic Herb Cebu FC.

In the first match, despite having one more player, Hanoi Police Club lost 1-2 to Buriram United. Therefore, in the match against Dynamic Herb Cebu, the Vietnamese representative was determined to win their first victory.

At the press conference, coach Mano Polking revealed that in tomorrow night's match, Hanoi Police will be missing three key players due to injury: Quang Hai, Viet Anh and Adou Minh.

However, coach Polking believes the replaced players will complete the task well.

“I am very grateful to the Hanoi Police Club leadership for preparing a deep squad for me. New players will take the field and I believe they will perform well.

After an unsatisfactory opening match, the whole team is determined to win all 3 points against Cebu. This is an important match for us, because only a victory can help us advance further in the tournament,” said Mr. Polking.

Mr. Polking admitted that in the past few matches, there were times when the Hanoi Police players lost concentration, leading to unfortunate losses. He himself worked to help his students increase their concentration throughout the match, making the most of the opportunities created.

“I am always excited about participating in international tournaments and want my team to participate regularly. Because there, we get to meet big, highly skilled opponents, so the players can compete and gain experience.

Everything that has happened will be useful for the players on the journey ahead," concluded the head coach of Hanoi Police.

According to the match schedule, Hanoi Police Club will host Dynamic Herb Cebu Club at Hang Day Stadium at 7:30 p.m. on September 24.
