This afternoon (February 19), a representative of Road Management Area IV said that after receiving information about a deep hole appearing on National Highway 51 through Phu My town (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), the unit's leaders directed the direct management agencies to record the reality and mobilize workers to repair it.

“The repair work was carried out by filling the deep hole with stone and hot asphalt materials. The cause of the deep hole could be due to the influence of weather and heavy vehicle load” - representative of Road Management Area IV informed.

The hole is about 50x50cm wide and nearly 1m deep at the car traffic section, near the Ngoc Ha traffic light intersection in the direction from Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Dong Nai .

Fearing that vehicles would fall into the hole, local people brought out foam boxes to place as warning obstacles.
