Hoa Phat reaches 15 million tons of hot rolled coil steel

(QNgTV)- Hoa Phat Group has just officially reached the milestone of 15 million tons of hot rolled coil (HRC), marking an important milestone after more than 5 years of production. This product is completely manufactured at the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Production Complex.

Hoa Phat reaches 15 million tons of HRC

Of which, Hoa Phat Dung Quat 1 Iron and Steel Complex contributed more than 13.5 million tons. The HRC2 plant of Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Complex has also produced nearly 1.5 million tons since it came into operation. Blast furnaces No. 1 and No. 2 of Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Complex have been operating stably since the beginning of the second quarter of this year, completing the entire project. It is expected that the output of the entire complex will grow rapidly in the coming time.

With an expected steel production capacity of 16 million tons/year from 2026, including 9 million tons of HRC and high-quality steel, Hoa Phat will continue to affirm its position as the largest steel producer in Southeast Asia, in the Top 30 largest steel enterprises in the world , contributing to fully meeting the needs of domestic and foreign markets.
