Policy credit activities in Thang Binh commune ensure smoothness and efficiency

At Binh Quy transaction point (Thang Binh commune), the working delegation inspected transaction activities with people and policy credit at the transaction office of the Thang Binh Social Policy Bank.

Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Director of the Transaction Office of Thang Binh Social Policy Bank said that, following the branch's direction, the unit kept 20 old commune transaction points in 6 new communes to ensure the best service for the people.

As of July 14, transaction points have been operating smoothly and effectively, without any interruption in policy credit activities with the people.

To date, the total outstanding debt managed by the Transaction Office of the Thang Binh Social Policy Bank is more than 1,008 billion VND, with 16,702 customers accessing policy capital. In the first 7 months of 2025, the outstanding debt increased by more than 59 billion VND compared to the end of 2024, providing loans to 7,307 customers. Debt suspension and overdue debt are both at low levels.

Binh Quy transaction point has a loan balance of more than 49.3 billion VND, with 892 customers borrowing capital, an increase of 1.8 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year. The interest collection rate reached 100%, with no overdue debt.

Mr. Tran The Vinh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang Binh commune said that right after operating the 2-level government, the new commune government always pays attention and creates the most favorable conditions for policy credit to operate smoothly and seamlessly to serve the people.

The locality directed socio -political organizations to focus on quickly processing loan applications, agreeing not to submit the applications through the one-stop shop but to submit them directly to the commune leaders for timely resolution for the people. In addition, the locality prioritized the arrangement of infrastructure, tables, chairs, and equipment for the Transaction Office of the Thang Binh Social Policy Bank to organize transactions.

Mr. Doan Ngoc Chung - Acting Director of the Social Policy Bank Branch in Da Nang City acknowledged and highly appreciated the direction and coordination between the Party Committee, the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the entrusted socio-political organizations and the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Thang Binh.

Thereby, policy credit activities in the area have been implemented quickly, neatly and effectively in the new situation, creating favorable conditions for people to transact conveniently and safely, contributing to the sustainable development of the city's policy credit activities.
