During the past term, the cadres and members of the War Veterans Association in the commune have united, promoted emulation, and completed their tasks well. Credit Association Over 3.7 billion VND in preferential loans to help members develop production. Members contributed more than 500 working days, 100 million VND to build new rural areas, renovate roads and cultural houses; over 150 million VND to support the construction of a new house for a member in difficult circumstances. The whole commune has 10 war veteran clubs attracting 645 members; 25 self-managed war veteran groups to prevent and combat crimes, social evils and traffic safety...
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Association of War Veterans of Hoang Hoa Tham commune strives to have: 60 - 70% of the War Veterans - Veterans Clubs operate effectively; 100% of Association officials are trained and have professional skills; there are no more poor member households, the rate of well-off and rich member households is over 70%; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, charitable activities, contributing to the good implementation of the political tasks of the locality and the province.
* Veterans Association of Kien Xuong commune
During the past term, the Association of War Veterans in Kien Xuong commune has done a good job of propagating and mobilizing generations of war veterans to unite, maintain and promote the nature and tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers". Proactively implementing and completing the Association's political tasks, many tasks were completed well, exceeding the set targets. In the two years (2023 - 2024), the Association of War Veterans in the commune has excellently completed its tasks and been commended and rewarded by superiors. Currently, over 90% of war veteran households in the commune have a living standard of average or above average, the rate of poor member households has decreased to 0.023%.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Kien Xuong Commune War Veterans Association sets out the direction to build a strong association organization in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics; a streamlined apparatus, effective and efficient operations; and a clean and exemplary association staff. The Association strives for 100% of its branches to be clean and strong, 98.5% of its members to be exemplary members, 95.5% of its members' families to be "Cultural Families" and there to be no poor member households.
*Hong Chau Ward Veterans Association
Over the years, the Hong Chau Ward Veterans Association has actively promoted and mobilized members to unite and help each other develop the economy and improve their lives. The Association has mobilized members to donate more than 10,000 square meters of land to build roads and welfare works; maintain environmental protection clubs; build 13 self-managed veteran groups to prevent and combat crime and 6 traffic safety groups. The Association has actively participated in gratitude movements, joined hands for the poor, visited and gave gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution; coordinated propaganda and encouraged young people to fulfill their military service well.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Hong Chau Ward Veterans Association strives for 100% of members to be steadfast in political ideology, no more poor veteran households, and increase the rate of well-off and rich members to over 70%.
