At the conference, delegates listened to Comrade Hoang Thi Quynh Chi - Head of the Legal Department, Supreme People's Procuracy present and introduce new legal documents recently passed by the National Assembly . The main content was the innovations of the Law on Organization of the People's Procuracy, the Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code, helping to strengthen the legal basis in the practice of the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities.

In addition, the conference also analyzed and clarified new regulations in the Civil Procedure Code, the Administrative Procedure Law and Resolution No. 2025/QH15 on piloting the permission for the People's Procuracy to initiate civil lawsuits to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups or to protect public interests and resolve problems.

This is a resolution of special significance, allowing the People's Procuracy to pilot civil lawsuits to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups such as children, women, and people with disabilities; at the same time, contributing to protecting public interests, ensuring social justice and strengthening the rule of law.

The conference also affirmed the important role of regular training and fostering to improve the qualifications, capacity and skills of the prosecution staff. This is considered a decisive factor for the People's Procuracy to perform well its functions and tasks in the renovation period, meeting the requirements of judicial reform and building a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people and for the people.
