More than 1,500 students participate in the English competition

DNO - On September 27, Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (University of Danang) organized the final round of the English Talent Competition - ETC 2025. This is an academic playground organized by the school annually since 2017.

ETC 2025 has the theme “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, aiming to encourage students to not only demonstrate their English proficiency but also to inspire creative thinking, social responsibility and global spirit.

Through this theme, the teams exploited ideas related to the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations, from technological solutions for transportation, agriculture , clean energy, to initiatives for health, environment and community.

At the same time, it is an opportunity for students to both improve their language skills and contribute to spreading the humane message of harmonious and sustainable development for the future.

ETC 2025 takes place from March to September 2025 through 4 rounds (preliminary, preliminary 1, preliminary 2 and final round), attracting more than 1,500 students from 515 teams. The organizing committee selects the 10 best teams to participate in the final round. Here, the teams go through 2 rounds of presentation and debate.

The teams brought many creative ideas, focusing on issues such as developing local tourism in a sustainable direction, improving air quality, solving urban traffic problems, promoting green and efficient agriculture, applying technology to care for and protect human health, optimizing the use of clean energy, and providing solutions to handle marine waste...

In the end, the organizing committee awarded 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize, 3 Encouragement prizes, 4 Promising prizes and 1 prize for the most popular video on the contest fanpage.
