More than 20,000 visitors visited the Vietnam Military History Museum on the first day of ticket sales

On the morning of April 12, on the first day of collecting entrance fees, the Vietnam Military History Museum welcomed more than 20,000 visitors.

On the morning of April 12, Tuoi Tre Online reported that tens of thousands of people lined up early to visit the Vietnam Military History Museum (Nam Tu Liem District, Hanoi). The entrances, indoor and outdoor exhibition areas were packed with visitors.

Since 7am, the Thang Long Avenue access road has been congested due to dozens of 45-seat passenger vans bringing students and veterans to visit. Many groups from many provinces such as Quang Ninh, Nam Dinh , Ha Nam... said they left at 5am to be there on time.

According to the museum's Propaganda and Education Department, in the morning alone, there were more than 20,000 visitors.

Previously, according to the announcement from the Vietnam Military History Museum, starting from April 12, people and tourists need to buy tickets when visiting the museum. The price for mandatory subjects is regulated at 40,000 VND/person/time.

In addition, many people will be exempted from entrance fees, including: people under 16 years old, people 80 years old and over, war invalids, people with revolutionary contributions, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, People's Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes, soldiers, veterans, students of military academies and schools.

People who are entitled to a 50% discount on entrance fees include: people with severe disabilities (as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 11 of Decree No. 28 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on People with Disabilities); the elderly (as prescribed in Article 2 of the Law on the Elderly, are Vietnamese citizens aged 60 or older, with an elderly card or citizen identification card/other types of identification); students aged 16 or older with student cards issued by schools in the national education system in Vietnam.
