In order to serve the increased travel demand of people during the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026, during the days of reinforcement, the railway industry will organize the operation of 55 trains with a total of over 800 carriages per day. The total number of seats provided for the entire Binh Ngo Lunar New Year transport period is about 330,000 train tickets for passengers traveling along the route.
From September 15 to September 19, 2025: Organize ticket sales for groups of guests, including units of the People's Armed Forces, Universities, Colleges, Industrial Parks, Export Processing Zones, social organizations, enterprises, companies, and units in the railway industry.
From 8:00 a.m. on September 20, 2025: Organize widespread ticket sales on all railway ticket sales channels. Sell via Website: www.dsvn.vn; vetau.com.vn, vetauonline.vn; giare.vetau.vn. At stations, ticket sales points and ticket sales agents managed by the railway; via applications, e-wallets: Momo, VNPay , ZaloPay, ViettelPay, banking applications (Smart Banking), train ticket sales apps on mobile devices... Or via the Saigon Station Ticket Sales Call Center 1900 1520, Hanoi Station 1900 0109.
Each customer can book and purchase no more than 10 tickets for departure and 10 tickets for return.
The railway industry sells extra seat tickets for children (from 6 to under 10 years old): When a passenger has purchased a sleeper or seat ticket and requests to purchase an additional seat ticket for a child; each adult passenger ticket can only purchase one additional child seat ticket, and when boarding the train, they will be arranged to share a seat with an adult.
