Accordingly, from 8:00 a.m. on September 20, the railway industry will open the sale of train tickets for Tet 2026 widely on all ticket sales channels, including: website www.dsvn.vn; vetau.com.vn, vetauonline.vn; giare.vetau.vn at stations, ticket sales points and ticket sales agents managed by the railway; via applications, e-wallets: Momo, VNPay , ZaloPay, ViettelPay, Banking applications (Smart Banking), train ticket sales apps on mobile devices...; or via the Saigon Station Ticket Sales Call Center 1900 1520, Hanoi Station 1900 0109.
To ensure the rights of passengers and avoid buying fake or incorrect tickets, the railway industry recommends that passengers go directly to the train station system and ticket agents nationwide to buy tickets. Passengers must bring identification documents and documents proving their eligibility to buy discounted train tickets. In particular, passengers must not buy train tickets through "ticket brokers".
Passengers can check their e-ticket by accessing the website: dsvn.vn; find the "check ticket" section; fill in all information: ticket code, train label, departure station, arrival station, train date, personal identification number printed on the ticket; compare information on the system and on the boarding pass.
Each customer can book and buy no more than 10 tickets for the outbound journey and 10 tickets for the return journey. In addition, the Railway Industry sells extra seat tickets for children (from 6 to under 10 years old) in case the passenger has purchased a sleeper or seat ticket. Each adult passenger ticket can only buy one extra seat ticket for a child, and when boarding the train, they will be arranged to use the same seat as an adult. At the same time, extra seat tickets are sold to officers and soldiers of the armed forces, police on sudden business trips, military service, enlistment; and reporters on duty.
According to the train operation plan, the railway industry will organize 55 trains/day, with a total of over 800 carriages, providing about 330,000 train tickets for passengers during the Lunar New Year 2026.
