Press conference on the 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of September 27, Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee held a press conference to inform about the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Chairing the press conference were comrades: Giang Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province; Duong Duc Huy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

At the press conference, Comrade Giang Thi Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, gave an overview of the Congress.

Accordingly, the 1st Congress of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is a particularly important political event, marking a new development step of the province after merging administrative units and implementing the 2-level local government model.

The 1st Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress was held from September 28-30 at the Provincial Conference Center, Yen Bai Ward, Lao Cai Province. The Congress was attended by 440 delegates, representing more than 119,000 party members in the entire Party Committee.

This congress has many new features, notably the strong application of digital transformation and AI technology.

In particular, digital technology will be applied in the process of preparing and organizing the Congress, ensuring information safety and security, such as: Building automatic attendance software using AI recognition technology, Congress documents and working session documents posted on the Digital Congress application...

The Congress has the task of summarizing the implementation of the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, on the basis of the content of the Congress Resolution of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee before the merger; determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
