Meeting to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and celebrate the spring of Giap Thin 2024

On February 2, the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024) and celebrate the Spring of Giap Thin 2024.

Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; retired former leaders of the province; members of the Provincial Party Committee; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Labor Heroes; leaders of local departments, branches and sectors in the province.

Speaking to review the glorious historical journey of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Provincial Party Secretary stated: Over the past 94 years, our Party has continuously built, consolidated and developed, worthy of the people's trust, creating extremely valuable traditions. That is the tradition of steadfast, indomitable fighting, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people; upholding the spirit of independence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, and constant creativity; strengthening solidarity and unity within the Party, maintaining close ties with the people; always upholding pure and loyal internationalism. In the face of many heavy challenges, the Party has still developed with steadfast political will, improving its capacity and fighting strength, meeting the requirements of tasks through each revolutionary stage, leading the people to win many great victories in the fighting process and reaping many achievements in building and developing the country to become more and more prosperous and happy.

For our province, under the leadership of the Party, the Party Committee, the government, the people of all ethnic groups in the province have always been loyal to the goal of national independence and socialism, contributing to the completion of the national liberation revolution; have been constantly striving to overcome difficulties and challenges, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, successfully implement the Party's policies and guidelines, and make Ninh Thuan increasingly develop and progress, contributing to the common development of the country and international integration. Ninh Thuan, from a purely agricultural province, has risen to become a fairly developed province in the region; the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved; the appearance of urban and rural areas has become increasingly prosperous. In 2024, in the new context of the world and domestic situation, there are many intertwined advantages, difficulties and challenges; In the province, the provincial planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, has just been issued. The potential, advantages and key projects continue to be effective, creating a strong driving force for the Party Committee and people of the province to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and revolution, absolute loyalty to the Communist Party of Vietnam, Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, firmly grasp and creatively and effectively apply the Party's guidelines and policies to the specific conditions of the locality.

To successfully implement the goals set by the Provincial Party Committee in 2024, the Provincial Party Secretary requested Party committees and local authorities at all levels and the entire political system to continue promoting the achievements, upholding the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, focusing on leadership, closely following and concretizing the resolutions, policies and projects of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee to ensure timeliness, synchronization and correct orientation. In which, focusing on prioritizing promoting rapid and sustainable economic growth; restructuring the economy associated with renewing the growth model, improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy. Focusing on implementing 3 breakthroughs: Speeding up the progress of key and inter-regional projects, especially infrastructure projects; perfecting mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties for key development areas; unlocking land resources. Promoting administrative reform, improving the business environment. Comprehensively and synchronously develop the fields of culture, education, improve the quality of human resources, health, and society on par with economic development; focus on ensuring social security, sustainable poverty reduction, and improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Strictly manage and effectively use land and resources, protect the environment, proactively prevent and combat natural disasters, and respond to climate change. Continue to perfect a streamlined apparatus, operate effectively and efficiently, and improve the quality of cadres, civil servants, and public employees. Resolutely prevent and combat corruption, negativity, and waste. Consolidate and strengthen national defense and security, maintain political stability, social order and safety; improve the effectiveness of foreign affairs and international integration. Build a clean and strong Party organization and political system. Strive to become a fairly developed province in the region and the country by 2025, one of the centers of renewable energy and clean energy in the country; By 2030, become a province with an average income in the upper middle group of the country; by 2045, become a comprehensively developed province with a high income. Thereby, contributing with the whole country to reap even greater achievements in the new revolutionary period.

Launching the emulation movement to carry out the tasks of 2024, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated: 2024 is determined to be the year of "acceleration", which is very important to fulfill the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025.

To successfully and comprehensively implement the set goals and tasks, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to thoroughly grasp the motto of action "Solidarity, discipline, flexibility, creativity, and efficiency acceleration", innovate in thinking and act decisively, create strong changes in leadership and management, promote the spirit of responsibility, and effectively implement the set key tasks. With the atmosphere of the new year, new momentum, new spirit, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested each cadre, party member, civil servant, public employee, union member, association member and people to deeply absorb Uncle Ho's teachings: "Competition is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation" and "those who compete are the most patriotic" to focus on leadership, direction and implementation of work right from the beginning of the year with the common spirit of "choosing the right priority to do, determination, solidarity, unity, joint efforts, and efforts to overcome difficulties", striving to successfully carry out the tasks set for 2024, achieving the highest results in the goals and tasks of the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021-2025.

At the meeting, representatives of senior retired officials and the young generation expressed their pride and determination to accompany the Party Committee, government and people in the province to promote tradition, work, study and creativity in all fields, contributing to building Ninh Thuan homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.

Authorized by the President, the Provincial Party Secretary presented the Third Class Labor Medal and flowers to congratulate Ms. Hoang Thi Ut Lan, President of the Provincial Association for Supporting Poor Patients, for her many contributions to social charity activities, contributing to the construction and development of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Association for Supporting Poor Patients. The Provincial People's Committee Chairman presented the Third Class Labor Medal and flowers to congratulate Ms. Ha Anh Quang, former Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, for her outstanding achievements during her work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
