Merging 2 Vietnam Musicians Associations of An Giang province

The Vietnam Musicians Association of An Giang province organized a conference to merge the two Musicians Associations of An Giang province and the old Kien Giang province. Attending were representatives of the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations, along with 19 musicians of An Giang province.

The conference announced the decision of the President of the Vietnam Musicians Association Nguyen Duc Trinh on appointing the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Musicians Association nationwide.

Accordingly, musician Truong Ba Trang, former Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, was appointed as the branch president after the merger. The deputy branch presidents include musicians Duong Minh Duc, Nguyen Dang Khoa, Tran Van Nam, and musician Ho Thanh Danh, a member of the executive committee.

The conference also approved the action plan for the fourth quarter of 2025 and 2026. In particular, the conference agreed on a plan to select 8 musicians specializing in composition and performance to stage works to participate in the National Music Festival to be held in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of September 2025.
