Within the framework of Vietnam Innovation Day 2025, on the afternoon of October 2, the Vietnam-Germany High-Tech Industry Forum 2025 organized by the National Innovation Center (NIC), in coordination with the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK) and the German Business Association (GBA) took place successfully at the National Innovation Center (Hoa Lac).
The event brought together nearly 100 delegates, including representatives of ministries and branches, and leaders of leading technology corporations from Germany and Vietnam, demonstrating a strong spirit of cooperation in promoting innovation and developing high-tech industries.

One of the most attractive features of the forum is the technology demonstration area, with the participation of leading brands such as Hermle AG, Walter Tools, Open Mind, Heidenhain, Zoller, Albreght, Lang Technik, Blum Novotest, Blaser, Wenzel, Bosch Rexroth and many other technology enterprises.
Among them, Hermle AG - the symbol of German engineering in the field of precision machining - brought the C400 5-axis machining machine, which was demonstrated live at the event. This machine line represents the philosophy of "Hermle - The World's No.1 5-axis machine tool for total productivity", demonstrating the perfect balance between precision, dynamics, thermal stability and rigidity - the four core elements of total productivity.

Together with Hermle, Walter Tools and Heidenhain demonstrated synchronous solutions from cutting tools, programming software, to measurement and data management systems, simulating the entire value chain of a smart factory - Smart Factory 4.0. Technologies from Open Mind and Zoller, Albreght, Lang and Blum also contributed to completing the overall picture of the digital integrated production model - where data, equipment and people operate as a unified whole.
Within the framework of the forum, many thematic seminars were held with the participation of experts, businesses and research organizations from both Vietnam and Germany. The topics focused on: Precision molds and general machining - discussing solutions to optimize production of supporting industries; Aerospace and defense - security - sharing experiences and technologies in the field of materials, components and defense systems; Electronics and semiconductors - discussing opportunities for the development of Vietnam's semiconductor industry in conjunction with Decision 1131/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on national strategic technology groups.

Speaking at the Forum, Mr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center, emphasized: Vietnam considers high-tech industry as a key driving force to improve national productivity and competitiveness. Cooperation with Germany - a leading country in manufacturing technology - will open up great opportunities in knowledge transfer, human resource training and building sustainable value chains.
On this occasion, the representative of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, Mr. Bjorn Koslowski, said: The activities of the forum and the contents that Germany participated in the National Innovation Day 2025 are clear evidence of the effective cooperation between the two countries. German enterprises are ready to accompany Vietnam in building modern production capacity, towards international standards of efficiency and sustainability.

“We deeply appreciate the efforts of the members of the Vietnam Semiconductor Network (NIC) who have devoted a lot of effort to connecting leading German technologies to the Vietnamese manufacturing and processing business community,” said Mr. Bjorn Koslowski.
Notably, at the forum, delegates from Vietnam and Germany jointly agreed to propose the formation of a network of Innovation Centers in ministries, branches and industrial localities, based on the Smart Factory model demonstrated at the event.
In particular, technologies with outstanding performance allow Vietnam's key industries to move forward in the current complex situation of the global supply chain: aerospace industry, defense industry, security industry, electronics-semiconductor industry and high-value supporting industries...
Accordingly, these centers will be places to apply digital technology , automation and artificial intelligence in production; at the same time, they will be platforms to help small and medium-sized enterprises access advanced technology, thereby spreading innovation to all industrial zones in the country.
