On November 21, the second phase of the national volleyball championship for men took place in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, attracting the participation of 9 teams including: Sanest Khanh Hoa, The Cong, Bien Phong, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Ninh Binh, Ha Noi, Long An , Vinh Long. The second phase will select 4 excellent teams to enter the semi-finals to compete for the championship and the 4 bottom teams will compete for 2 relegation tickets.

The surprise happened on the first day of the second phase when The Cong Club defeated the championship candidate Sanest Khanh Hoa with a score of 3-1 (25/21, 25/23, 22/25, 25/22). Nguyen Van Quoc Duy showed brilliant performance to help The Cong team play well. By defeating the defending champion, The Cong Club also rose to the top of the table. In the remaining match, Ha Tinh Club won 3-1 against Da Nang to temporarily rise to 4th place with 2 wins and 4 losses.

Today, there are 3 exciting matches of the second phase of the national volleyball championship for men. At 1:30 p.m., there will be a clash between Vinh Long Club (1 point, 9th place) and Long An Club (5 points, 8th place). These are 2 teams in the relegation group, so it is expected to be fierce and uncompromising. At 5:00 p.m., there will be a clash between Border Defense Club (12 points, 3rd place) and Hanoi Team (5 points, 7th place). Facing a weaker opponent is an opportunity for Border Defense Team to win all 3 points and take the top spot in the rankings. At 8:00 p.m., there will be the final match of the day between Ninh Binh Club (6 points, 6th place) and Ha Tinh Club (7 points, 4th place). This is a match that is considered to be evenly matched, competing for a ticket to the top 4.
