Attending the Congress were Party Central Committee members: Vice President, First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh.
Speaking at the Congress, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the results, achievements, as well as the important contributions of the emulation movement and reward work to the comprehensive development of Hung Yen province in recent times.
Emphasizing that Hung Yen today has a wide development space, abundant natural resources and human resources, a strategic location connecting the capital Hanoi and the key economic region of the North, with the advantage of reaching out to the sea, and many conditions for breakthroughs and stronger development in the coming time, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan suggested that the province needs to continue to strongly and comprehensively innovate emulation and reward work, from choosing emulation movements that must be key and practical, to launching and implementing methods that must be substantial, effective, and closely linked to the requirements of reality. Timely detect, build, and replicate exemplary models; promote propaganda and spread widely in society; promptly honor and reward the right people, the right jobs, and the right key tasks that localities and units need to focus on implementing in each stage of development...
The goal by 2045 is that Hung Yen will become a modern, ecological, smart industrial city rich in cultural identity, with people living a prosperous and happy life. Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said that this aspiration and vision will become a reality when the Party Committee, government and people of Hung Yen province promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, dynamism, creativity, and promote all local resources, especially human resources. In particular, emulation and reward work is an important driving force, which has created miracles in the revolutionary stages of our country and will continue to play its role in the new revolutionary stage.
“The province needs to continue to strongly promote Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and the Party’s guidelines and policies on patriotic emulation. Emulation is not just a slogan, but a direct driving force to turn potential into advantages, turn aspirations into reality, and help the province make a breakthrough on the path of development. Every cadre, party member, and every citizen of Hung Yen needs to consider emulation as the responsibility and honor of every organization and individual,” the Vice President emphasized.
Expressing confidence in the fine traditions of the thousand-year-old Pho Hien land with high political determination and strong development aspirations, the Vice President emphasized: Hung Yen will continue to reap even greater achievements in the coming time, making worthy contributions to the overall development of the country.
At the Congress, Hung Yen Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia called on all cadres, party members, civil servants, armed forces soldiers and people of all walks of life to actively respond to the patriotic emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period, practically associated with the political tasks of the locality and the industry, in order to improve labor productivity and work efficiency, helping to successfully complete the set goals.
With the spirit of "Everyone competes, every family competes, every industry competes", Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province Nguyen Khac Than said that in the coming time, the province will focus on the following tasks: Continuing to propagate and thoroughly grasp Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation; strengthening and further promoting the responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities and leaders at all levels in leading and directing the organization of emulation and reward work; comprehensively innovating, improving the quality and effectiveness of emulation and reward work in terms of content, form and implementation measures. Along with that, promoting the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, joining hands, unanimity, and determination to build Hung Yen homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and happy.
Over the past five years, in emulation movements, more than 380 collectives and nearly 800 individuals of the province have received awards from the President and the Government; 16,000 collectives and individuals have received awards from the province. The emulation movements have contributed to the success of the province's socio-economic development tasks in the past term.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan awarded the First and Third Class Labor Medals to Hung Yen province; Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to individuals with outstanding achievements. Many outstanding individuals and collectives in the patriotic emulation movement, period 2020-2025 received the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
