Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement Decision 1012 of the Prime Minister on promulgating the Action Plan for digital transformation in the direction and administration activities of the Government and the Prime Minister online and based on data for the period 2024 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.
In particular, Ho Chi Minh City sets a target that by 2025, 50% of the city's statistical indicators will be provided to serve leadership and management work in the form of digital data.
At the same time, 100% of the tasks assigned by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee are monitored, supervised and evaluated using digital data.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the issuance of this plan aims to concretize and effectively implement goals and tasks, in accordance with the actual situation and conditions of the city.
In addition, the application of modern technology to support data synthesis, reporting, analysis, connection and synchronization between departments, branches, districts, and Thu Duc City, to serve the direction and administration of the City People's Committee. At the same time, it creates favorable conditions for connection with central agencies.
The goal also helps to integrate and share data, index groups, and indicators on the city's direction, administration, and socio-economic development with systems and databases of the Government Office and ministries and branches.
According to the plan, by 2030, Ho Chi Minh City strives to have 100% of the city's statistical indicators provided to serve leadership and management work in the form of digital data.
In particular, Ho Chi Minh City will build and deploy forecasting models, apply artificial intelligence and big data analysis technologies to forecast and propose solutions to help city leaders direct and operate promptly, flexibly and effectively.
In the plan, the city proposed many groups of tasks and solutions such as: Perfecting institutions, policy mechanisms; Cutting down on reporting regimes that have been replaced by digital data; Simplifying and restructuring work processing procedures; Monitoring, inspecting, and supervising to serve direction and administration work in the electronic environment...
At the same time, gradually develop and perfect the city's administrative information system, connect the Government's reporting information system, the Government's information and command center, the Prime Minister 's information and command system, and the Government's and Prime Minister's information and command system.
Along with that is developing digital data, promoting connection and sharing to serve leadership and management; Building online leadership and management content; Training and developing human resources and ensuring information security and network security.
In addition, to perfect the institution, Ho Chi Minh City will review, simplify, and restructure the process of handling work, monitoring, inspecting, and supervising to serve the direction and operation work in the electronic environment.
