According to the plan, the activities responding to the National Digital Transformation Day 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City aim to promote the progress of implementing tasks and effectively implement the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030.
To implement this plan, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requires units to deploy contents and activities in response to National Digital Transformation Day in the city to be organized closely following the set theme, in accordance with the purpose, ensuring savings, safety and efficiency; creating unity and synchronization in coordination between state agencies, associations, enterprises and socio -political organizations; maximizing social resources to actively respond and participate in event activities.
The City People's Committee requested units to strengthen communication and promotion activities to raise people's awareness of the role, significance and benefits of digital transformation; encourage the participation of people, authorities and businesses;
Create opportunities for exchange and cooperation between state agencies and businesses providing products and solutions for digital transformation and innovative startups, contributing to improving the effectiveness of digital transformation and innovative startups in Ho Chi Minh City;
Promote research activities, innovation, and application of artificial intelligence (AI); encourage domestic and international individuals and research groups to propose and improve advanced and modern solutions to solve important problems serving life and society.
Promote the potential and advantages of Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to improving the effectiveness of investment promotion in the city's fields;
In addition, promoting regional connectivity, connecting the Ho Chi Minh City ecosystem with the national regional ecosystem in innovation and digital transformation; creating opportunities for exchange and learning experiences between organizations, start-up individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises with start-up support experts inside and outside the city.
Previously, in 2023, in response to National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), Ho Chi Minh City organized a series of events and Digital Transformation Week with the theme "Exploiting digital data, successful digital transformation".
Through this program, Ho Chi Minh City has actively communicated and promoted to raise people's awareness of the role, significance and benefits of digital transformation through visual information channels, reports, editorial articles on activities responding to National Digital Transformation Day 2023 on all mass media, social networks, electronic information pages... creating a ripple effect on the message of the Government and City authorities on promoting the development of digital government, digital economy , digital society.
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Week also aims to promote the spirit of innovation, creativity, creating initiatives and good solutions in public service activities, serving the people.
From there, promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to propagate, popularize and replicate typical advanced examples.
