Jun Pham: "Selling 10,000 books is not equal to 1 night of singing"

In a conversation with Dan Tri reporter, Jun Pham said he wrote the book just to satisfy his passion for writing. The male artist frankly shared that if he sold all 10,000 books, the revenue would not equal one night of singing.

The former member of group 365 confided: "I find myself finding joy in writing. People often think that writing books requires a sad soul, but that's not the case. I want to bring cheerful, close colors to my readers.

I don't always have good inspiration to write books, there will be days when I am stuck for words and forget the unfinished book. However, there will also be days when I myself am overwhelmed with emotions and absorbed in writing when witnessing a story that inspires me."

10 years with 3 novels, 1 autobiography and 1 children's book, Jun Pham shows his diligence with words. The male artist admits that he does not dare to reread the first book he wrote, because it still contains the immaturity of his 19 years old.

However, from the second book, the singer began to be more conscious of what he wrote. He was commented by publishers as having a very real, close and uncomplicated writing style.

Although he is a lively artist on stage, Jun Pham is a bit quieter in his books. "I like to observe and listen to everything around me, then add my own details to create my own story. When writing a book, I need a quiet space, preferably at home," he said.

Jun Pham has been nurturing The Land of Endlessness for the past 4 years. When it was released, the "young author" surprised everyone by achieving many successes: The book was reprinted just 1 day after its release, and the entire book "sold out" on all platforms...

In response to this success, Jun Pham revealed that he will donate all profits from the project to the Vietnam Heartbeat program, to support surgery costs for children with congenital heart disease. In addition, the male artist also plans to adapt the book into a play or an animated film for children.

Jun Pham (born 1989), real name Pham Duy Thuan, was involved in the arts early through commercials and modeling. In 2010, he joined the band 365 with members: Isaac, ST Son Thach, Will and Tronie Ngo.

After more than 5 years of active activities, the group 365 disbanded, Jun Pham switched to independent activities. He is considered a multi-talented artist when performing well in many roles such as singer, actor, writer, screenwriter...
