Copa America 2024 results June 30: 4 teams in the quarterfinals determined

Canada followed Argentina to win the remaining ticket from Group A straight to the quarter-finals of Copa America 2024 after a draw against Chile in the final round.

Group A of Copa America 2024 has officially ended with the determination of a fourth excellent team to participate in the quarter-finals.

Canada became the latest team to reach the quarter-finals after a 0-0 draw with Chile in the final match at Inter&Co.

After three matches, Canada has 4 points and is second in Group A, while two competitors Chile only have 2 points and Peru has 1 point.

As runners-up, Team Canada will face the winner of Group B (currently held by Venezuela).

Before Canada, three other teams had already entered the quarterfinals, including Argentina, Venezuela and Colombia.

Meanwhile, in the same match, defending champion Argentina continued to show impressive form by defeating Peru 2-0.

Lautaro Martínez shone with a double in the second half, to help Argentina have a third consecutive win in Group A of Copa America 2024.

With this double, Lautaro Martínez rose to the top of the tournament's top scorer list with 4 goals. The striker's previous two goals were scored in wins over Canada and Chile.

Going straight to the quarter-finals, the next opponent of the Tango team on the journey to defend the title will be the second team in group B.
