Taking place from November 2 to 3 (soccer competition starts on October 30), the health festival has ended successfully. The athletes competed with a spirit of honesty, the referee team was professional, creating an exciting atmosphere for the press team to strengthen their solidarity in their work, and successfully complete their political tasks in their professional work.
Athletes Dang Ngoc Hai - Pham Yen Khanh (Hanoi Moi Newspaper) received the gold medal in the mixed doubles category for over 40 years old in table tennis.
During the two days of the sports festival, the journalists really had days of competition, strength, fun, and increased exchanges between units, not only the press agencies in the capital, but also the central press agencies headquartered in the city and the provincial and municipal press agencies from far away coming to exchange in the capital.
The 28th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival in 2023 has the participation of nearly 500 athletes from the Vietnam Journalists Association, Journalists Associations of provinces and cities: Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Hoa Binh , Hanoi Department of Information and Communications and 20 central press agencies, newspapers of ministries and branches in Hanoi and press agencies of the capital. Athletes compete in 6 events: Chinese chess, tug of war, walking, badminton, table tennis, football competing for 32 sets of medals.
On the afternoon of November 3, the final competitions of badminton and table tennis concluded a successful health festival.
Result:
1. Mini-football: Today's Rural Newspaper team won the championship; Second place went to Vietnam News Agency team; Third place went to Nhan Dan Newspaper and Hanoi Radio and Television.
2. Tug of war: First prize went to Vietnam News Agency; Second prize went to Capital Defense Newspaper; Third prize went to Capital Security Newspaper and Vietnam Law Newspaper.
3. Walking: age group 18-40: First prize in the men's category went to athlete Truong Manh Huan (Capital Defense Newspaper), first prize in the women's category went to athlete Nguyen Thi Huong (Capital Women Newspaper); age group 40-60: First prize in the men's category went to athlete Nguyen Huu Thu (Capital Defense Newspaper), first prize in the women's category went to athlete Hoang Le Quyen (Hanoi Moi Newspaper).
4. Chinese Chess: Age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete Nguyen Anh Tuan (Hanoi Radio and Television Station); Age group 40-60: Athlete Nguyen Anh Quan (Nhan Dan Newspaper) won First prize.
5. Badminton: Men's singles age group 41-60: First prize went to athlete Nguyen Manh Cuong (Hoa Binh Journalists Association); Men's doubles age group 41-60: First prize went to athletes Nguyen Trong Hieu and Truong Cong Dung (Vietnam News Agency); Men's singles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete Le Ngoc Bach (Nhan Dan Newspaper); Women's singles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete Do Hai Yen (Hanoi Radio and Television Station); Men's doubles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete pair Nguyen Manh Cuong and Bui Dai Tay Duong (Hoa Binh Journalists Association); Women's doubles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete pair Bui Thi Tien and Trinh Thi Hong (Vietnam News Agency); Mixed doubles age group 18-40: First prize went to athlete pair Pham Tuan Anh and Trinh Thi Hong (Vietnam News Agency).
