According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Architects, the National Architecture Award has been implemented since 1994 and is held every two years.

The award is expected to be a driving force to promote architectural creation activities, encouraging architects nationwide to contribute to the innovation and development process of the country in general and localities in particular, through beautiful and valuable architectural works and structures.

Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, localities and units to consider the above proposal of the Vietnam Association of Architects to discover and nominate outstanding architectural and planning works in the locality, and guide units, organizations and individuals with architectural and planning works to participate in the 2024 National Architecture Award.
