Opening of the 14th Central Committee Planning Cadre Training Course (3rd class)

Speaking at the opening ceremony, General Secretary and President To Lam stated: Since the 11th Congress, the opening of training courses to update knowledge for cadres planning to become members of the Party Central Committee has been truly innovated and increasingly systematic. Practice shows that this is a very important preparation step for personnel work during the Congresses and makes a very important contribution to the success of the National Party Congress.

General Secretary and President To Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the Central Organizing Committee and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics for their coordination in organizing the first and second classes well; and for their thorough and methodical preparation for this Training Program, in which many Party and State leaders and the country's leading experts and theoretical scientists directly taught and exchanged. Research on the Training Program showed that in each topic, adequate time was devoted to discussion so that students had the opportunity to share their views and present their understanding of the content of the topics, thereby deepening the important theoretical and practical issues of the country.

General Secretary and President To Lam suggested that the trainees need to uphold their sense of responsibility, make efforts to study, research, practice ethics and style; focus their time, effort and intelligence, together achieve the highest results, and successfully complete the entire course program. The class will truly be a forum for trainees to exchange and discuss in order to gain a clearer and deeper understanding of new theoretical and practical issues; at the same time, share experiences in management and operation of those holding important positions as key officials of central agencies and provinces and centrally-run cities. By acquiring knowledge from the training class, trainees will have a foundation to better fulfill their political tasks at their agencies and work units.

For the comrades of the Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee of the Training Course, and the reporters participating in the communication, General Secretary and President To Lam suggested that it is necessary to deploy the content of the Training Program so that it is truly effective, transforming knowledge into awareness and activities into scientific thinking methods, and the strategic vision of the comrades in training. It is necessary to pay special attention to promoting the initiative and creativity of the trainees, focusing on the interaction between the communicator and the researcher, implementing well the motto "learning goes hand in hand with practice", theory is closely linked to practice; regularly inspecting and supervising the learning process, training ethics and style of Party school students; creating all favorable conditions for comrades in training to complete their learning tasks well. Organizing these classes is a responsibility, but also an opportunity for comrades to accumulate useful experience in organizing training and fostering activities and serve as a model for innovating the training and fostering of leaders and managers of the Party and State.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang spoke to receive the direction of General Secretary and President To Lam at the opening ceremony of the training course to update knowledge and skills for planning cadres of the 14th Party Central Committee (3rd class).

On behalf of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Steering Committee for organizing the class, comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang spoke to accept the direction and promised to ensure the quality of training and the practical significance of organizing the class.

The class has 49 students who are key officials of central agencies and provinces and centrally run cities.

The class will approach and study 33 topics covering the country's key issues at present. These contents are the result of careful research, summarizing the valuable experiences of leaders, senior managers of the Party, State, leading experts and scientists.

The class also has topics introduced by foreign experts on building a ruling Party, on development in the context of digital transformation, green transformation... Along with that, the class also equips students with leadership and management skills.

In addition to lecture time, all topics are arranged with discussion time so that students have the opportunity to share their views and perceptions on the content of thematic reports, thereby deepening the theoretical and practical issues involved.
