Tan Trao High School is a school with a rich tradition, having gone through nearly 80 years of construction and development, has been awarded the title of Labor Hero by the State, recognized as a National Standard School and has achieved the title of Excellent Labor Collective for many consecutive years. Currently, the school has 73 cadres, teachers and employees, with 6 professional groups, and is one of the leading units of the provincial Education sector. Many generations of students have grown up from this school, actively contributing to the development of their homeland and country.

In the 2024-2025 school year, teachers and students of Tan Trao High School have achieved many outstanding achievements. In particular, the 2025 High School Graduation Exam ended with impressive results: 598 K77 students passed the graduation exam, reaching a rate of 100%. Of which, there were more than 500 excellent scores of 8 points or higher, 7 students achieved absolute scores of 10 in Physics, History, Geography; 1 student achieved 9.5 points in Literature; 8 students were valedictorians of university groups A00, C00 with an average score of 27 points or higher; many students of groups A01, B00, D01, D04... achieved 24 points or higher. These brilliant achievements are a testament to the tireless efforts of the school's teaching staff and students.

Entering the new school year 2025-2026, Tan Trao High School welcomed 580 more 10th grade students, bringing the total number of students to 1,718. The school aims to continue innovating teaching methods towards developing students' qualities and abilities; enhancing the application of information technology; building a disciplined, friendly, and safe educational environment, contributing to training a generation of students with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and personality.
