Opening of An Giang Tourism and Culinary Festival 2025

On the evening of September 27, at Rach Gia ward, the People's Committee of An Giang province organized the opening ceremony of the Tourism and Culinary Festival combined with the Trade Promotion Fair, OCOP products of Rach Gia, An Giang in 2025.

The festival takes place for 9 days (from September 27 to October 5) at Tran Quang Khai Square, Rach Gia ward.

The festival is open to visitors from 8am to 10pm every day. In addition, the event also incorporates sideline activities such as art performances, entertainment games, business connections, and surveys of tourist attractions.

This is an activity to welcome the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

Cultural activities at the festival.

In her opening speech, Ms. Quang Xuan Lua, Director of the Center for Promotion, Trade and Investment of An Giang province, said that the festival aims to promote tourism, culture and people of An Giang; create a space for entertainment, attracting tourists from inside and outside the province.

The festival has more than 300 booths from 12 provinces and cities across the country and An Giang province.

“In addition to the space for promoting tourism, local cuisine is the main highlight. The festival also has an area to introduce export products, OCOP products, typical products of localities, and general commercial products to consumers with a variety of goods in terms of types and quality. Thereby, creating conditions for businesses to meet, connect, cooperate in business, and expand the consumer market…”, Ms. Lua said.
