Opening of Learning Promotion Month and Lifelong Learning Response Week 2025

- On October 1, the Provincial People's Committee organized the opening program of the Lifelong Learning Week 2025 with the theme: "Learning to develop yourself, mastering knowledge and technology, contributing to building a strong and prosperous country". The opening program was held live and online at 61 connecting points in the province.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; along with representatives of departments, branches; People's Committees of communes, schools from kindergarten to college, and Community Learning Centers in the province.

Accordingly, the Month of Learning Promotion will be implemented from September 5 to October 5, 2025; the Week of Lifelong Learning Response will be organized from October 1 to October 7, 2025.

Activities during the 2025 Learning Promotion Month and the 2025 Lifelong Learning Response Week focus on disseminating the Party's resolutions and conclusions; and the Government 's directions. on the development of science , technology, digital transformation, education promotion, talent promotion and building a learning society. Implement the movement "Digital Education for All", promote lifelong learning in families, clans, and communities, associated with building the model of "Learning Citizens". At the same time, build and develop the Education Promotion Fund; organize activities to support students to overcome difficulties; encourage and reward students with high achievements; continue to encourage adults to continue studying; promote propaganda about Vietnam Education Promotion Day October 2; organize "Reading Culture" festivals at schools and community learning centers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and commended the proactive coordination of all levels and sectors, along with the efforts of teachers and students in implementing lifelong learning in the province in recent times.

He emphasized that in the coming time, departments, branches, units, armed forces, Party committees and authorities of communes and wards will continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement the Party's policies, the Government's directions, resolutions and plans of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee on building a learning society and lifelong learning. The Department of Education and Training will promote its role as a standing agency, proactively and actively advising the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to promptly and effectively direct and implement Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development; resolutions, programs, plans and projects of the province on building a learning society. The Department of Education and Training will coordinate with the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education to pay attention to developing members, mobilizing collectives, individuals and philanthropists to contribute resources to carry out the work of promoting education and talents; Coordinate with the People's Committees of communes and wards to direct educational institutions to effectively implement the emulation movement: "Teach well, learn well".

He also suggested that students practice reading habits, proactively access modern learning tools, promote creativity, self-study, start-up and master technology.
