Phu Quy Island, also known as Cu Lao Thu, is the farthest island district of
Binh Thuan province, located about 110km southeast of Phan Thiet city. The main island area is only about 18km2 but has full of scenic spots and forms of tourism experiences with rich cuisine.

The first impression of Phu Quy is its simplicity. A poetic strip of land right on the peaceful Trieu Duong Bay. If Trieu Duong Bay offers a vast space with a long stretch of white sand, the island's Small Beach is as beautiful as a picture with a crescent shape extending into the mainland. Soaking in the cool water of Phu Quy Island will become the most memorable moment every summer.

On the island, there are remarkable man-made structures that visitors should visit every time they come to Phu Quy, such as the flagpole marking
the sovereignty of the Fatherland. Phu Quy flagpole is one of the most beautiful and sturdy flagpoles built on the outpost islands along the coastline of Vietnam. This is not only a "check-in" stop but also has a sacred historical significance and noble educational significance. Next is the "eye of the island" - Phu Quy Lighthouse - built on the top of Cam Mountain, in Ngu Phung Commune. The lighthouse is located at an altitude of 108m above sea level, with a box-shaped design with 2 floors of beautifully contrasting light and dark colors. After more than 25 years of operation, Phu Quy Lighthouse is considered one of the largest lighthouses in Vietnam.

Coming to Phu Quy Island is also an opportunity for visitors to experience the skillful blend of history and modernity. Linh Son ancient pagoda has been a religious destination for the islanders for over 100 years. Amidst the salty sea, Linh Son pagoda is extremely peaceful. The sound of the temple bell blends with the sound of waves and wind, bringing relaxation and a sense of peace amidst the picturesque landscape.

From the Linh Son Pagoda - Cao Cat Mountain scenic complex, you can see the surrounding fishing village, the Ban Tranh Princess Temple and the lighthouse on Cam Mountain. Especially on the distant horizon are Tranh, Trung and Den islands, which are the most beautiful at sunset in the late afternoon. The modern traces include the Phu Quy wind power project. With 3 turbines up to 60m high and a rotation diameter of each more than 75m standing tall on the green grass, this is the first wind power project in Vietnam operating on a mixed model of wind and diesel. Phu Quy wind power is not only a fresh breeze blowing on the potential land of Binh Thuan but also warmly welcomed by
tourists as a backdrop for souvenir photos.
