Determined to achieve economic growth of over 8% in 2025

In the first 9 months of 2025, Lam Dong's GRDP growth rate reached 6.8%. To achieve the GRDP growth target of over 8% in 2025, the province needs to implement many synchronous solutions, focusing on promoting advantages in agriculture and tourism, promoting administrative reform and attracting investment, while paying attention to the disbursement of public investment capital.

It must be affirmed that, although there are still many difficulties, the departments, branches and localities of Lam Dong province are making every effort to complete the assigned tasks. In the agricultural sector, the output and quality of agricultural products have increased. The scale of livestock has increased steadily.

Prices of agricultural products increased, contributing to boosting the value of the agricultural sector. The industrial and construction sectors also achieved remarkable figures. Disbursement of public investment and construction capital also had many changes. This is the premise for industry and construction to contribute a significant part to GRDP.

In particular, the province has resolutely and regularly closely monitored the implementation of programs and plans of each unit and locality. Accordingly, difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of economic targets have been gradually resolved. Thanks to that, the province's economic growth has increased quite well. This will be the premise for the locality to make further efforts in the remaining time of 2025.

To achieve the set goals, Lam Dong province will focus on implementing many drastic, breakthrough and effective tasks and solutions, especially in disbursing public investment capital, because by the end of September 2025, Lam Dong province had only disbursed nearly 30% of the total capital plan of VND 18,900 billion. Not to mention the slow capital disbursement is blocking the progress of strategic infrastructure projects. This is also the source of holding back new production capacity, restraining the spillover effect to stimulate other economic activities.

To remove this bottleneck, Lam Dong province has assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to urgently advise and perfect public investment project management boards, land fund development centers including branches and site clearance boards.

Project management boards stabilize their apparatus and personnel, hand over and receive programs, tasks, projects, and public investment plans during the period of rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and organizing the two-level local government apparatus to ensure continuity, without delay or impact on disbursement progress.

In particular, resolutely, seriously and synchronously implement solutions for disbursing public investment capital in 2025. Urge contractors to strengthen measures to concentrate workers, machine shifts, gather enough materials at the construction site, and work overtime to speed up progress during the rainy and stormy months. Urgently complete acceptance procedures, payment and settlement for completed projects, handover and put into use, focus on site clearance, and speed up the construction progress of key projects.

Along with that is promoting the growth of economic sectors, promoting the province's tourism strengths to attract tourists and promote service development. Continuing to develop high-tech agriculture, producing typical products such as: coffee, tea, strawberries, flowers. Attracting investment in processing and manufacturing industries and high value-added service sectors. Creating favorable conditions for business development, minimizing administrative procedures, supporting businesses to access capital and markets.

Continue to invest and upgrade infrastructure and transportation to connect key economic zones and attract investment. Develop high-quality human resources, improve competitiveness and innovation in economic sectors.

In addition, Lam Dong province has taken flexible measures to respond to market fluctuations, ensuring stability and sustainable development by closely coordinating and effectively implementing these solutions. With these efforts and synchronous solutions, Lam Dong province can realize the target of achieving 8% growth in 2025.
