Deputy Director of the Department of Health Phan Huy Thuc inspected the medical examination organization at the Health Station.

The team of doctors, nurses and staff of Kim Thanh Medical Center and Phu Thai Medical Station No. 4 examined and provided medicine to over 300 elderly people in the commune. Through screening, many elderly people were found to have diseases such as cataracts, entropion, diabetes, high blood pressure, musculoskeletal system... After the examination, many elderly people were scheduled by the doctors for follow-up examinations and to perform some procedures and surgeries at the Medical Center.

Mr. Nguyen Quy Phung, Director of Kim Thanh Medical Center, said: Free medical examination and treatment activities for the elderly in 14 communes under the management of the Regional Medical Center are maintained regularly. This activity is of interest to the Department of Health, the City's Department of Population and Family Planning, and the Center for Disease Control. Through this activity, many elderly people with chronic diseases have been screened, put under management, and periodically given medication, and timely surgery to treat eye-related diseases such as cataracts, entropion, etc.

As of August 22, Kim Thanh Medical Center has organized 5 free medical examinations and medicine sessions for 2,067 people aged 60 and over at 5 medical stations in Phu Thai and Lai Khe communes.
