Over the past years, in addition to effectively implementing business activities, the branches of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ( Agribank ) in the province have always actively promoted their responsibility to the community through social security activities such as building charity houses, schools, giving Tet gifts to poor households and policy families... which have been recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees at all levels, local authorities and the community.

Agribank Bac Thanh Hoa cut the ribbon to inaugurate and hand over the social security project of Vinh Hung Primary School (Vinh Loc) with a total support fund of 7.1 billion VND.

For many years, Agribank branches in the province have been banks that have made great contributions to social security activities, for the community, with practical work. Most recently, with the desire to join hands to support and help poor households, people in difficult circumstances, and policy beneficiaries in all localities across the province to celebrate the Lunar New Year at Ty fully and warmly, Agribank branches, through the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, have awarded 4,200 Tet gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to the poor and policy beneficiaries. This has been the bank's annual work for many years, thereby promptly supporting and encouraging thousands of poor households and policy beneficiaries in localities across the province to have more joy every time Tet comes and spring comes.

It is known that the education sector has always been interested and focused by units over the years with investment in dozens of schools in rural and mountainous areas. Also during the recent Lunar New Year, Agribank Bac Thanh Hoa cut the ribbon to inaugurate and hand over the social security project of Vinh Hung Primary School (Vinh Loc) with a total support fund of 7.1 billion VND. The project has a scale of investment in building a new headmaster's house and functional rooms, with a construction area of ​​423.4m2, 2 floors high to improve facilities, ensuring the quality of teaching and learning of teachers and students in the school.

With the desire to "leave no one behind", banks also prioritize large budgets for the program to eliminate temporary houses, dilapidated houses, and work with localities to support poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties. Ms. Le Thi Huyen, Tam Hoa village, Cong Chinh commune (Nong Cong) is a household with difficult circumstances, old age, and frequent illness. For many years, Ms. Huyen had to live in a dilapidated house, without the conditions to repair it. Understanding the situation, Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa helped build a solidarity house, about 50m2 in area, covered with heat-resistant corrugated iron, including a living room, bedroom, and kitchen, helping Ms. Huyen have a sturdy house, and feel secure in her old age.

Ms. Trinh Thi Kim Lien, Deputy Director, Chairman of the Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa Trade Union, said: “The bank's Board of Directors always educates awareness and arouses the spirit of responsibility for the community to all officers and employees, because in addition to the task of providing capital for agriculture, rural areas and farmers, Agribank branches in general, and Agribank Nam Thanh Hoa in particular, always identify social security work as one of the important tasks, contributing to poverty reduction in localities. Meaningful gifts to care for the material and spiritual life of policy families and meritorious people in localities are not only valuable in terms of material value but also have great significance in encouraging, sharing, adding strength and confidence to people in difficult circumstances to rise up in life”.

In 2024 and the first months of 2025, Agribank branches have sponsored more than 10 billion VND for charity and social security activities with outstanding activities such as: sponsoring social security for health and education; giving Tet gifts to policy families and poor households; sponsoring gratitude activities; supporting people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3; donating forestry seeds to poor households in many localities... In addition, banks have also paid attention to investing and sponsoring funds to purchase vehicles, ambulances, equipment for medical facilities, donating hundreds of social insurance books, health insurance cards to the poor, contributing to better serving people's health care, implementing social works such as lighting up rural roads, supporting funds for tree planting, greening bare land, bare hills, applying science and technology in production and business...

Agribank branches in the province are implementing many effective business programs and solutions, continuing to affirm and maintain the leading role in the credit market for developing "three agricultures". At the same time, demonstrating the responsibility of a large enterprise and through social security work, accompanying farmers, supporting the disadvantaged in society, policy families, implementing solutions to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty sustainably, demonstrating the responsibility of a bank for the community.
