Khanh Hoa supports housing rent and travel expenses for former provincial officials

Khanh Hoa province supports housing rental and travel expenses in cash for civil servants, public employees, and workers when arranging administrative units and organizing two-level local government.

On the morning of August 15, the Special Session of the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province, term VII, unanimously approved a Resolution regulating the policy of supporting housing rental and travel expenses in cash for cadres, civil servants, public employees (CB-CC-VC) and workers (NLĐ) after rearranging administrative units and organizing two-level local government in the province.

Regarding housing rental support policy, Khanh Hoa province applies it to two groups of people. One is civil servants, public employees, and employees who transfer to the new administrative center; are mobilized, rotated, or seconded from the provincial level to work at the commune level, and have a place of residence 30km or more from the workplace, and are supported with 3 million VND/person/month.

Subject 2 is a similar case to subject 1, eligible for public housing but wishing to rent a private house or not yet provided with public housing, will be supported with 4.5 million VND/person/month.

The level of financial support for travel expenses is 760,000 VND/person/month.

The support is provided monthly and is not used to calculate social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance contributions or benefits or to calculate regimes and allowances; the maximum support period is 24 months from the effective date of the Resolution.

The funding source for implementing these two policies is guaranteed by the provincial budget and is arranged in the annual regular expenditure estimates of agencies and units using civil servants and public employees.

Khanh Hoa province expects about 2,234 people to receive housing rental support. The total expected maximum support budget for 1 year for these subjects is 84.5 billion VND, and for 2 years is more than 169 billion VND.

Cash travel expenses will support 2,415 people, with a total implementation cost of about 44 billion VND over 2 years.

Also at this Session, the People's Council of Khanh Hoa Province, term VII, unanimously approved the Resolution regulating the fee collection level and the regime of collection, payment, management and use of fees for visiting Nha Trang Bay scenic spots. The collection of fees for visiting places aims to have a stable financial source to serve the management and conservation activities of Nha Trang Bay.
